Owner and operator Curtis Dearden has been in the building industry since he began working for his dad as a teenager at the family owned company, Dearden Construction Services. He continued building with his dad in the summers while pursuing his studies and rowing at the varsity level at the University of British Columbia. After receiving his degree, Curtis pursued high performance cycling and travelled the world by bike, culminating in becoming the Time Trial Cycling National Champion. The growth of his young family brought him back to the building industry where he has built homes in Victoria, the Southern and North Gulf Islands, Barkley Sound and even Chile. He has now settled with his family in the Southern Gulf Islands, and completes many residential construction projects, ranging from small to large, with his trusty four legged friend, Katie, by his side.
